Maximo Strident and the Apocalypse Knights venture deeper into the Apocalypse Horizon. More and more dungeons appear, and it quickly becomes apparent that their previous methods might not cut it. Even as he acquires more levels, spells, and items Max is faced by a new enemy. This enemy is known as the Slaughterman, a diabolical fiend who threatens not only Max himself, but his companions. All the while, the Cosmic Logos watches, and it’s starting to think the time has come to intervene....
