When demon-spewing portals plunge the world into chaos, John Woods is granted the worst possible ability for a socially anxious loner. He must make people think he's cool. It was, admittedly, an abnormal day for John. Leaving his house without being forced into it by circumstances or family was a rare occurrence, but it was a nice day in London, and he fancied a burger. Unfortunately, the end of the world comes before he can take a single bite. He soon realizes that he has a unique system. When he does something cool, like kill monsters, he gains Aura points, which he can spend on permanent power-ups. Act lame, and his points go down. It almost seems like a cruel joke, but the Aura system is as generous as it is judgmental. Upgrades. Attributes. Spells. Skills. Everything is on the table. Guess it's time to go fight monsters.
