Betrayed by My Party for Being a No-Rank Hunter, I Was Reborn as the Archmage

My girlfriend called me weak for being a No Rank Hunter. After that, my party sacrificed me for loot. Then I found an ancient vial- and was reborn as the Archmage. My party held me down on a sacrificial altar, stabbed me through the chest, and used my life to open a treasure vault. They took the gold. They left my body. Then the System gave me a legendary class: Archmage. I’m Matteo Sartori. Yesterday, I couldn’t cast a spell. Today, I’m alive in a dungeon I can’t escape, learning to aim before something eats me. My only companion is a hungry blue slime named Bibo. He has opinions about my magic. None of them are flattering. The Castali Trials offer a chance to change everything: a dungeon tournament with a prize worth fighting for. With a live audience across the galaxy that my former party can’t silence. This time, I’m not carrying their gear. I’m building a team of my own- with a talking slime, and a cat who seems convinced she’s in charge. Even my girlfriend Sofia wants another chance. But rebuilding trust is harder than learning magic. They called me worthless. Now they’ll have to face me with the world watching. An action-packed LitRPG adventure featuring earned magical progression, dungeon combat, revenge, found family, companion banter, and second-chance romance. Contains violence, forced sacrifice, strong language, and emotional angst alongside humor and moments of warmth.
