Doctor Who and the Androids of Tara

Geoffrey Beevers reads the original Target novelisation of this Key to Time adventure. The Doctor and Romana's quest for the fourth segment of the Key to Time brings them to Tara, a rural planet where colourful pageantry and age-old tradition mingle with ultra-modern android technology. Yet whilst finding the segment is easy, escaping from Tara with their lives proves much more difficult. Romana's likeness to a captive princess makes her useful to the wicked Count Grendel, whilst the Doctor finds himself cast as technician-in-waiting to a would-be king. Fortunately, the faithful K-9 is on hand to assist them... Geoffrey Beevers, who played the Master in the BBC TV series, reads Terrance Dicks's novelisation of the 1978 TV serial by David Fisher, whilst John Leeson provides the Voice of K-9.
