Perrin Holt finally has a successful dungeon, which turns out to create an entirely new category of problems. Hollow Rock has survived inspections, disasters, difficult adventurers, and more repairs than Perrin ever planned to supervise. Now people are lining up before breakfast, the dungeon is growing faster than expected, and every new visitor brings more pressure to expand without losing the strange personality that made Hollow Rock worth saving in the first place. More rooms mean more routes, more maintenance, more residents, and more decisions than Perrin can reasonably make himself. That would be manageable if the people around him were not becoming increasingly capable of solving problems without him. As Hollow Rock grows, Perrin has to figure out how to let other people carry real responsibility without convincing himself that being less necessary means being less important. The System can measure dungeon growth, visitor satisfaction, operating capacity, and an impressive number of statistics Perrin strongly suspects nobody needed. What it cannot tell him is how to preserve resident boundaries, keep adventurers safe, maintain the dungeon’s identity, and handle the consequences of becoming unexpectedly good at running the place. Expansion is also beginning to uncover things Hollow Rock has kept buried for a very long time. Old architecture is stirring, strange discoveries raise new questions about the dungeon’s past, and outside competition is getting harder to ignore. Beneath it all is one particularly inconvenient fact: something below Hollow Rock has already answered their knock. My Dungeon Somehow Became Popular is the second book in The Accidental Dungeon Master, a cozy dungeon-building LitRPG featuring practical problem-solving, found family, unusual residents, character-driven humor, exploration, clean slow-burn romance, and the increasingly complicated consequences of turning an accidental purchase into a place that feels like home. If you enjoyed watching Perrin build Hollow Rock in I Bought a Dungeon for One Gold Coin, Book 2 asks what happens when the dungeon finally becomes successful enough for everyone else to notice.
