Reborn as an S-Rank Blacksmith, Book One

Darien spent one life mastering the sword. He'll spend this one learning how to forge them. Darien, hero of the War Guild, falls on the battlefield just when he thought his work was finally done. He wakes up younger, far from home, and holding a class the world thought was extinct: the S-Rank [Endless Forge]. To survive in the quiet town of Orlen, he'll have to make his name as a blacksmith. That turns out to be a double-edged sword. He may be the only person in Orlen who can consistently forge unique magical items, and he has to keep that a secret. Every piece he sells draws more attention. Taken in as an apprentice at a struggling smithy, Darien finds that trouble follows him wherever he goes. The forge is drowning in debt to the wrong people. The whole town wants to know where the new magical items are coming from. And Darien keeps getting better, far better than any apprentice has a right to be. And then there's Liv, the master's daughter, who has spent her whole life watching her father work and never once been allowed to pick up a hammer. So Darien starts teaching her at night, after her father's gone to bed. One more secret to keep. Keeping his head down was supposed to be the easy part. A cozy progression fantasy where blacksmithing IS the progression. For fans of Whisper of Iron, Infinite Forge, True Smithing, and Rise of the Living Forge.
