Return of the Healer: Book 2

Everything is different. I thought restarting my life would help me save everyone, and I couldn't be more wrong. My demonic essence was converted without a choice. The system forced a class upon me, turning me into an angel for a purpose unknown. I'm a pawn, a piece to be moved around the board. But when the raid came, I wasn't expecting my greatest friends and allies to come with it. Finding Ven again, I took joy in wrapping my wings around her. But my happiness didn't last long. We had nearly cleared the raid when I learned that Carl, my best friend from my past timeline, ordered me to be killed. An ambush in the raid nearly succeeded. My settlement was attacked and my people threatened. I don't have a choice anymore. I will take the fight to Carl and remove the threat to those I'm trying to save. If only the system didn't have even grander plans for me. A change to the leveling system that governed Earth. An end to the testing that we had been going through. Learning that my cousin and many of the humans from Earth are on another planet was just the start. Learning that the god that created the system needs my help is another matter entirely. But she's trading favors. Favors that I need. It's no longer all take, and I have a path forward once again. I'm going to find the other clans to gain my skills. I'm going to adjust to this new leveling system and become the strongest. If this so called god can give me what I need, then I will repay her. I only hope the world can adjust as fast as I am.
