From Seed To Sovereign. Taking a slice out of life.Gray went out to deliver a pizza. That was it. Drop off the pizza. Collect the money. Hopefully get a tip. Go home. He did not expect to get kidnapped by a clandestine organization, shipped off to another world, and dumped into the body of a guy with almost the same name. On the bright side, at least they didn't make him learn a new name. Fortunately, Gray lands in a quiet little village. Unfortunately, someone in the village is trying to kill him. Okay. Minor setback. But hey, at least he got a System. That's how these things are supposed to work, right? Get transported to another world, receive an obscenely overpowered System, accidentally kill a dragon by Tuesday. Unfortunately, his System is locked. Fortunately, all Gray has to do to unlock it is form his first mana core. Unfortunately, Gray has absolutely no idea how to do that. Fortunately, Gray and his new best friend manage to earn their way into the Blazing Sun Order, a massive group where thousands of Awakened practitioners train to form mana cores, learn supernatural skills, battle monsters, and take their first steps on the long road toward immortality. Finally. Actual teachers. Actual training. People who know what they're doing. Gray's luck might finally be turning around. Unfortunately, the Blazing Sun Order has other plans for him. Because apparently the universe has established a firm policy that Gray is not allowed to have good news without immediately being punched in the face by the fine print. Not that Gray was particularly ambitious back on Earth. He delivered pizzas, played farming games, paid his bills when he could, and considered making it through an entire week without something going catastrophically wrong to be a respectable accomplishment. This week was obviously not respectable. Anyway, his goals in this new world aren't much different. Step One: Survive. Step Two: Figure out cultivation. Step Three: Form a mana core. Step Four: Unlock the System currently squatting inside his head rent-free. Step Five: Become incredibly powerful. ... Okay, maybe don't get ahead of yourself. Revised Step Five: Try very, very hard not to get murdered. Because Gray is starting to suspect that surviving long enough to become powerful might be the hardest part.
