Squire of Shame

Squire of Shame is a grim medieval Christian-litRPG dark fantasy set in 1232 AC in the border marches of Frankia. It follows Alric of Glenmoria, a seven-year-old boy whose life is shattered when an ork attack massacres a road column and kills the Black Cross knight he served. Alric survives by hiding, and the book begins from that wound: not heroic triumph, but the crushing shame of cowardice honestly remembered. From there, the story becomes one of discipline, burial, confession, formation, and harsh spiritual training under the Order of the Black Cross.
