One lone soul, a kobold trained as a magic-wielding rogue, tries to bring reason to the dungeon and quell the core's madness. When Gemiya at last gains the core's attention she finds the last thing she expected, a contemplative old general with a story to tell and a mission to charge her with: the last desperate defense of a kingdom doomed to fall.
