Thirteen Days of Trouble

When trouble comes knocking, only the strong survive! Flush with his winnings in both money and power, Akio and his comrades find dire events waiting for them at home. A rival has taken advantage of their absence to launch a series of brutal attacks, and his domain is crumbling. Akio must also face the consequences of his hasty actions, his sudden engagement not least among them, and Shaeula's bitter past rears its head in deadly fashion, only adding to the chaos. As these woes intensify, the battles in the Boundary spill beyond it, and Akio and those he loves are forced to confront the truth that not even our world is safe from danger. To survive this disastrous fortnight, it will take all of Akio's wits, strength and connections, but to fail means worse than death. But victory offers sweeter rewards, and the greater the trouble, the greater the triumphs!
