Tournament Arcanum

To find a demon, he must play the devil's game. Gabriel's hunt for Nepherenti has led him to Lorest, a lawless city of power-mad mages where might makes right and mercy is a myth. He hoped to find a civilization of arcane scholars to learn from. Instead, he found an anarchist meat-grinder. With Nepherenti on the cusp of an apocalyptic ascension, Gabriel's only lead lies with the Prime Arcanum—and the only way to get answers is to win the Tournament Arcanum. The rules are simple: fight to the death, winner gets a wish. Entering the arena in Atreya's colors, Gabriel chooses to hide his true arcane might. To disrespect the arrogant mages of Lorest, he enters the tournament armed with nothing but pure martial prowess and twin pistols. As the bodies pile up, a far greater threat steps into the ring. Azariah, the legendary Undefeated of the West, wants a worthy opponent. As a member of the elite Black Star Five, he doesn't care if the world burns, so long as he gets to test his limits. To survive against a living legend, Gabriel will have to unleash his full power. When the smoke clears from an apocalyptic clash of gods and steel, will Gabriel have enough strength left to face the monster waiting in the shadows? Or has he simply cleared the path for the world's destruction?
